TORCH-ON WATERPROOFING
As the name implies, torch-on products are burned on at +- 150 degrees C and come in a range of problem-specific types and need to be applied by specialists in this field.
SELF-ADHESIVE SYSTEMS
These are specialist products and best suited in covered circumstances, such under tiles and brick paving, asphalt and retaining walls. They are thin, tough and flexible.
BUILT-UP WATERPROOFING SYSTEMS
The three main types are Acrylic, Bituminous and Cementitious. If applied correctly, these can be used for most domestic waterproofing problems – eg. parapet flashings, roof patching and penetrating damp.
